ALONE

All my life I just wanted someone next to me.
Someone to love me as much as I love them,
but here I am feeling more alone than I have ever felt before.
The people I love most, live so far away.
Can they feel my pain? My loneliness?
I wonder if my life will forever be like this?
But I'm done searching for that someone
who's supposed to fulfill my every need.
Because, I don't believe they exist.
How can they when I feel so alone...
